Song

"Twisted" is a song recorded by American recording artist Usher for his seventh studio album Looking 4 Myself (2012). The song features producer and N.E.R.D member Pharrell Williams, who also produced and wrote the track with Usher. Williams has collaborated with Usher on previous records, including the latter's third studio album 8701 (2001), and two of its songs; "I Don't Know" and "U Don't Have to Call". Musically, "Twisted" is a soul track—more specifically described by critics as "retro-soul"—that takes queue from 60's and 80's style of music, with heavy use of bass and percussion. It received universally positive acclaim from music critics, who praised its production. Upon the release of Looking 4 Myself, the song debuted at number 39 on the South Korea Gaon International Chart, with sales of 7,257 digital copies.
