Hello.

My name is Ernie and I have been a coin collector since about 1966 when I acquired a can of old Lincoln pennies and about 20 US silver dollars. When I turned 10 in 1968, I bought my first coin set from the US mint and have been a regular customer since, all the while building my coin collection of United States coins and sets, from 1958 (my birth year) onward. I do have some older US coins, and while I am trying to make a complete set of US coins, I make no attempt to purchase any gold coinage - just a little too rich for my blood. I have managed to get some general circulation coins from foreign countries, but I have never tried to delve into collecting from that trove.

I recently started to edit Wikipedia articles related to Modern United States Commemoratives - mostly formatting of information in that article, as well as updating coin images, and adding some of the more recent commemorative coins.
