Okarokape

Okarope is a small village 20km east of Okakarara. and 54 km from[1] in [2]. The Herero people are the majority at okarokape village, with the Oshiwambo speaking and Ovazemba from Opuuo who work as livestock hearder. Okorokape consist of 300 residents and with 150 cattle and 500 small lives stock. Most of the homestead is taken care of the young children as their parents have passed away due to long illness and poverty. The majority of the youth is unemployed as they are illiterate. They trying so hard to send their children to attend school at [3]. The community of Okarokape are working together to fight crime against livestock theft which is increasingly rapidly. The villagers has plant a big garden, where they have plant tomatoes, potatoes, onion and beans in order to generate small income. The income they generate they share among themselves.The villagers they appreciate the money they get, because they used it, to buy little groceries and pay for their children school fee.
