Franco Fagioli (born in 1981 in San Miguel de Tucumán) is an Argentinian counter-tenor opera singer. His name is not very well-known, despite his collaborations with musicians such as Rinaldo Alessandrini, Alan Curtis, Gabriel Garrido, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, René Jacobs, Konrad Junghänel, Marc Minkowski, Riccardo Muti, Christophe Rousset and even Cecilia Bartoli.

Biography

Franco Fagioli studied at the Art Institute of the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. In 2003 he won the Bertelsmann singing competition "Neue Stimmen"[1]. In 2011, Franco Fagioli was awarded the Abbiati Prize in the category "best male singer of the year".
