Yankuba popularly known as Energy is from a small town call Brufut The Gambia. The (1998) year born started doing music in 2019. He sings in different languages including English, Mandinka, Wolof and so many more. The young star is also a Song writer. He added growing up in a small town made me feel like I don’t fit in anywhere. So that made me restless for a long time so I decided to search for my own part. Something that will make me fill that void. And I think I find that through music and art. When I started to find my part after high school.. my dedication grew and I felt nothing can stop me. I learned more and more about music. I learned as I grow to be myself and a better musician.
