Hi! I'm a human being with a variety of intellectual interests, including linguistics (esp. syntax, Hindustani linguistics, and Japanese linguistics), and mathematics (esp. algebraic geometry and neighboring fields). I have been using Wikipedia since its inception when I was in middle school. It's been an invaluable source of knowledge for me over the years. I figured that, now that I feel a bit more confident in my knowledge of some things, maybe the time was ripe for me to start contributing.
