Early Life and Background

Emmanuel “Eman” Chukwaukponomasi Anene Jr. was born to Nigerian immigrant parents on June 28, 1982, in Emporia, Kansas. Growing up in a musically supportive household, Emmanuel developed an interest in various music genres from an early age. At five years old, he was introduced to the keyboard and began piano lessons, which laid the foundation for his future career. His Nigerian heritage influenced his style, blending traditional Afro rhythms with elements of soul, reggae, and contemporary music. Education Eman obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2007 and holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

Musical Career

Eman's music career began during his college years, drawing inspiration from producers such as Timbaland, The Neptunes, Just Blaze, and Dr Dre.
