Sigma Sigma Rho (ΣΣP) is the first South Asian interest social and service sorority on the East Coast of America. Sigma Sigma Rho Sorority, Incorporated was founded on December 10, 1998 at St. John's University in New York. The 10 founders formed the sorority with the pillars of sisterhood, society and remembrance.
It is nationally recognized by the National APIDA Panhellenic Association (NAPA).

Philanthropy[edit]
Sigma Sigma Rho's national philanthropy is domestic violence awareness and prevention. They contribute to this mission with Sigma for Society Week, Heel the Soul Walk, Mr. and Ms. Distinguished/Qayamat, and other events throughout the year.
