I looked at the Wikipedia page for Occupy Wall Street. I wished there was a greater emphasis on how the use of social media platforms and other digital platforms increased the popularity of the movement, allowing people from all ends of the country to unite together against income equality. The importance of social media was not highlighted as much as I think it should be. All of the links to the citations worked, with most of the citations being from newspaper articles from reputable sources like the Washington Post and the New York Times. Also, I think it would be important to update this page to include how specifically in the 2016 elections, the core tenants of Clinton and Sander's campaign were income equality. The Occupy Wall Street movement has had tidal waves of impact on the Democratic Party and I think it is imperative to acknowledge this in order to fully understand the magnitude of influence this movement has. Also, one of the movement's major talking points was the need to increase the minimum wage, and so I think the political movement to make this happen, especially in California and in New York, should also be discussed in detail.
