This is sandbox subpage one for experimenting with short bits of code.ElijahBosley (talk ☞) 23:40, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Before experiment: begin by adding a new section.

Test of all black template

[edit]
Whoa there.
You were awfully quick to post a template before you'd thoroughly checked it out. Let's see if this one is any better. ElijahBosley (talk ☞) 22:15, 28 September 2010 (UTC)

test of check mark

test of check mark:

Done okay, I like that template.

Table conversion

[edit]

Table conversion from .xls to Wikimarkup accomplished and published; raw data no longer needed, so I deleted it ElijahBosley (talk ☞) 20:23, 10 November 2010 (UTC)

coffee template

[edit]
Coffee on me.
I see you have an interest in racial theories: the cite to Madison Grant caught my eye. I write to let you know that you have an unknown twin across the Atlantic. He is like you an erudite fellow, a voracious reader. You are English; he is an Anglophile--an American Tory to the point of treason. He claims to be working on a Madison Grant biography--though he's threatened such a biography for a decade with little evidence he will carry it out. The Madison Grant article seems to me to need of improvement. Maybe I can persuade the two of you to shoulder your shovels and get to work. ElijahBosley (talk ☞) 14:14, 11 April 2013 (UTC)

New Sig.

[edit]

Let's try a new sig.

Zeus Bolt-thrower

Okay let's see how this signature figures into a full line of text, that is text that wraps around so we have a lot of print to work with. Let's say I am writing a long involved comment and then want to sign my name. Zeus

Try it again with this one in a larger font. Let's see how this signature figures into a full line of text, that is text that wraps around so we have a lot of print to work with. Let's say I am writing a long involved comment and then want to sign my name. Yeah--you see that? It throws off the lineation. We may need to work on this some more. Tomorrow maybe HRH Snooty

OR we could do, Flaubert

Or even Dr.Death

Holiday template

[edit]
Happy holidays.
Best wishes for joy and happiness. Hope it works this time, let;s see whether I got it right ElijahBosley (talk ☞) 16:34, 16 December 2010 (UTC)

experiment with sfn notation

[edit]

Here is an effort to experiment with SFN notation.[1] I am going to see whether I can generate decorous footnotes with the minimum of fuss and bother.[2] So we will encumber each of these sentences with a fake footnote.[3] We will repeat one or two, just to see whether they show up properly.[4][5]
