The National Museums of World Culture, Sweden is a Swedish government agency with its head office in Gothenburg. The agency is administered by The Ministry of Culture (Sweden).

The National Museums of World Culture, Sweden was created in 1999. The agency's task is defined in the Swedish Code of Statutes instruction SFS 2007:1185 and the Annual Appropriation Directions. The instruction states that The National Museums of World Culture, Sweden should display and bring to life the various cultures, particularly cultures outside of Sweden. The agency should document and illustrate cultural manifestations and encounters, from historical, contemporary, national and international perspectives. The agency should produce and promote interdisciplinary knowledge and public activities.
