hey, my name is Ehren. the etymology behind my name indicates that it means either "honorable" or "a place of honor". I can endeavor to be the former, but it's kinda hard for me to be a place. but I'll try if it makes you guys happy.

my main interests on wikipedia are in popular music, mainly in jam bands and "frat rock"; local-to-me subjects (see below); broadcast television; and various electronic nerd things. I don't make many edits because I'm too busy absorbing information.

I'm still a novice wikipedian, but I am a professional human being. oh, and one of these days I'll get the hang of that fair use rationale thing.

Some quick facts

1. I'm 27 years old and still a college student, which is pretty pathetic. I'm studying journalism and English, and my career aspirations are to be a sports reporter or write for The Onion or a similar outfit.
2. I am a resident of Saint Paul, Minnesota, and try to contribute meaningfully to Twin Cities-related pages.

4. I absolutely despise userboxes. hey, Jocko: if you like chicken and anime, why not just say so?
5. like most people, I enjoy a great many things. here is a sampling: the Pat McGee Band; Mandy Moore; my iPod, Mac OS X and generally anything Apple-related; the Minnesota Twins; HDTV; American Eagle Outfitters
6. I also find a list of wikipedia accomplishments on main user pages distracting. so, if you care enough to, I made a subpage listing mine.
7. I do in fact like chicken. however, I'm not a fan of anime, even if I do own the Ninja Scroll DVD.
