As you soon will be able to tell by my edit history, I've been a freelance writer. The word freelance comes from a knight or mercenary who would sell his services to any lord willing to pay so he was known as a "free lance!" In this same way, I worked for a company on project basis. My "contractual" position didn't necessarily need a formal contract, but what I had was projects or piece's of writing with a set time frame and a goal. After my projects were complete, I would move on to the next project. However, I also have a large interest in promoting Wikipedia and keep track of several areas of article improvement and policy.--Edgaralanme (talk) 12:38, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
