Eddie Keyes is an American male born in 1961. He graduated from North Hollywood High School in 1979 and attended The University of Southern California (USC) where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics in 1984 and his Master's in Communication Management from the Annenberg School of Communications at USC in 1986.
Mr. Keyes was recruited to play football at USC by the legendary John Robinson. Eddie walked on to the football team and was made a permanent part of the team for the 1980 season but after suffering a shoulder injury he effectively retired from football while focusing on his academic studies.
While in graduate school he entered the Entertainment Industry starting in the mailroom as an agent trainee at The Agency for the Performing Arts (APA) where he was mentored by the late Hal Gefsky. He continued to assume more responsibility and promotions eventually becoming a full fledged Agent where he helped represent such luminaries as Keifer Sutherland, Drew Barrymore, Forrest Whitaker, Kim Basinger, Patrick Dempsey, Mark Harmon and a host of other stars over the years at various agencies.
Eddie Keyes was recruited to become a Creative Executive in the Motion Picture Group at Paramount Pictures under the presidency of David Kirkpatrick. Mr. Keyes was instrumental in the creation and development of the feature film, "Necessary Roughness".
Mr. Keyes left Paramount in 1990 and began a long career in the telecommunications field where he was instrumental in MCI's development of its then revolutionary Voice Over Internet Protocol or VoIP. Mr. Keyes then formed his own company alongside Mike Baudendistel where they provided private interactive voice mail networks to private schools and motion picture productions. "AVE" or Academic Voice Exchange was sold to AT& T in the mid 90's. Mr. Keyes is currently Founder and CEO of "CIA Consulting Group" a CEO leadership consulting practice in Los Angeles where he lives with his wife and son.
