From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

echriscopal was born in 1969 Montclair, NJ, but grew up in the unincorporated village of Annandale, New Jersey in Clinton Township, NJ. He returned to the northeast in 1988 to attend William Paterson College (now William Paterson University). After a leave of absence due to career-related travel, echriscopal received his B.A. in Communications in 1999. He subsequently received his M.A. in Media Studies at The New School in New York in May of 2007.

echriscopal's first non-waiter job was as a docent at the Hunterdon Art Museum, located in a restored grist mill in Clinton, NJ. For a short time, echriscopal worked at Willowbrook Mall (finding this experience remarkably similar to what is depicted in Fast Times at Ridgemont High). His next job was in an independent insurance agency, before he began working for a Large Telecom in 1990, where he remains.

echriscopal was raised a Roman Catholic, but joined the Episcopal Church in 2002. There he is active in social justice issues, including the Oasis Commission of the Diocese of Newark. Other interests include weight training, web design, and the history of ocean liners and civil aviation, particularly Pan American World Airways.

echriscopal's goals for Wikipedia include documenting some lesser known ocean liners and cruise ships. He is currently working on a page for the Holland-America Line's SS Statendam of 1958.
