Berwick Saga: Lazberia chronicle chapter 174[a] is a tactical role-playing game developed by Tirnanog, a studio founded by Shouzou Kaga, the creator of the Fire Emblem series. The game was released exclusively in Japan on 26 May 2005, for the PlayStation 2.[1] Berwick Saga is a sequel to the 2001 game Tear Ring Saga. Berwick Saga was the last game developed by Kaga until the release of Vestaria Saga in 2016.
Gameplay
[edit]Berwick Saga is a tactical role-playing game with gameplay similar to the Fire Emblem series and Tear Ring Saga, including the use of permanent death when characters are defeated in battle. However, it features several major differences, including the use of a hexagonal, rather than square, grid. Mercenary characters can be temporarily hired in exchange for money and later permanently recruited if certain criteria are met.[1]

[edit]Reception
