I am an educated but novice Wikipedian so I don't know all the rules yet. But I'm trying to add some useful information, especially from a sociological, spiritual, and political perspective, and I hope I can contribute to the enlightenment of humanity without hurting many people's feelings. I live in the US, read books, ride my bike, think about things, drink, and come on here, exactly in that order. I don't have a girlfriend.

My education
[edit]I've attended three colleges in my life, first for a year at Baruch College in New York, then Portland State University and University of Washington for the rest of my school career, until I dropped out in my junior year because I wasn't motivated to go to classes. I studied in the humanities and writing, while focusing on sociology and philosophy. Ever since then, I've been a consummate reader of non-fiction and fiction, lots of history, philosophy, social sciences, random things; more recently I've been getting into the natural sciences, especially astronomy and biology. I'd go back to school but I can't be arsed to. Though I probably should.
