Hi, my name is Dan Sloat and I'm an advocate of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM).

While I do have a passion for this emerging field and I would love to contribute to its development, I do not presently work in the industry. I am an American aviator with a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 61 private pilot's license and a Part 107 UAS pilot's license. I previously served in the United States Air Force in a Command and Control capacity that closely resembles AAM. My graduate education in Law, Business, and Economics as well as my professional experience in Telecommunications, Supply Chain Logistics, and Cybersecurity at AT&T; in Public Safety at FirstNet; and in Air Operations all help compliment my understanding of AAM and its myriad benefits to society.

I love learning and it's exciting to contribute to Wikipedia after years of simply reading and passively engaging with this globally collaborative project. Perhaps I will write a book on the subject of AAM one day but for now, starting the Wikipedia article for it is an honor all its own. I welcome any feedback to improve the draft of AAM before publication and once it goes live I plan to reach out to my professional network of experts and fellow advocates to expand upon this work further.
