User:Dream Focus/Remote mind control

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Draft of new article created first here. Purpose is to show the various methods that can affect someone's mind through remote broadcast, be it by microwaves, ultra sound, or other methods.

Sonic Projector is a program initiated by DARPA in 1997, with the goal of being able to produce sound only an intended target could hear, for special operations.

The official declassified documents read:

The goal of the Sonic Projector program is to provide Special Forces with a method of surreptitious audio communication at distances over 1 km. Sonic Projector technology is based on the non-linear interaction of sound in air translating an ultrasonic signal into audible sound. The Sonic Projector will be designed to be a man-deployable system, using high power acoustic transducer technology and signal processing algorithms which result in no, or unintelligible, sound everywhere but at the intended target. The Sonic Projector system could be used to conceal communications for special operations forces and hostage rescue missions, and to disrupt enemy activities.[1]

Microwave

[edit]

The Air Force has done experiments that used microwaves to vibrate a person's skull, so they could hear voices, just as someone would normally hear sound as it vibrated their ear drum. [2]

Ultrasound

[edit]

American Technologies has a patent on HyperSound, which is able to send sounds to specific targets. [3]

Notes on article creation http://www.constitution.org/abus/mkt/uncom.htm#PMICR I see stuff here, and elsewhere, mentioning the same names and devices all over the place. Got to find government websites, to verify each thing before adding it of course.

--- Synthetic Telepathy and the Early Mind Wars is found all over the internet. Not sure if the book isn't copyrighted. Ignoring the nonsense, and focusing on what was proven, there links to articles in major newspapers, government declassified documents, and whatnot, some valid encyclopedic information can be found.

Synthetic telepathy, remote manipulation, etc.

"techlepathy", "synthetic telepathy",or "psychotronics" are what some suggest for names in the telepathy article, referring to artificial telepathy using machines.
