Rookies in the NFL

OT Michael Oher- Started all 16 games, allowed 5.5 sacks and was on all rookie team for the Kansas City Chiefs.

DE Tyson Jackson- Had only 2 sacks in first 14 games, but got to the QB 4.5 times in the last 2 for the Detroit Lions.

DE Mike Johnson- Recorded 14 TFL, but only 2.5 sacks. He also missed 4 games due to serious knee injury for the Oakland Raiders.

CB Malcolm Jenkins- Recorded 5 INT and 2 TD as he was named to the all rookie team for the Miami Dolphins.

HB Chris Wells- The Bears didn't use Wells right. He got 103 carries and rushed for 402 yards and only 1 TD.

OT Andre Smith- Never started a game for the Cardinals because he didn't sign until Week 16 which is a record for a Top 10 pick.

FS William Moore- Had back to back 2 INT games in the last part of the season and finished with 6 INT for the Rams.

WR Percy Harvin- Harvin should have been OROY with his 897 receiving yards and 566 rushing yards with 17 total TD for the Jets.

OT Max Unger- Allowed just 1 sacks and was named to the Pro Bowl. Not a bad rookie year for the new Atlanta Falcon.

DT Kili Moala- Moala started all 16 games and recorded 26 tackles and 1.5 sacks with 3 TFL. Carolina was not pleased at all.

OT Phil Loadholt- Started 4 games and didn't allow a sack while playing against fast Defensive lineman. The Broncos are very happy about this kid's future.

LB James Laurinaitis- Recorded 134 tackled, 6.5 sacks and 4 INT as he was named to the Pro Bowl and was named Defensive Rookie of the Year.

WR Michael Crabtree- Caught 56 passes for 762 yards and 9 TD for the 49ers as the 49ers went 8-8 and are very pleased with Crabtree.

DE/OLB George Selvie- Selvie recorded 98 tackles, 3.5 sacks and 2 INT as he was named to the All Rookie team for the Eagles.

SS Taylor Mays- The athletic freak had 43 tackles and 3 INT for the Redskins but many experts say he could be better.

CB Vontae Davis- Started 7 games and picked of only 2 passes, but had 11 deflections for the improving Texans.

LB Gerald McGrath- 101 tackles, 3 INT, but only 1 sack, but can pressure the QB. The Titans are glad that he was available.

QB Curtis Painter- The ROY threw for 3,139 yards, 23 TD and 10 INT for the Vikings as they went 12-4 and made it to the NFC Championship.

LB Sean Lee- Had 10.5 sacks, but only 37 tackles which was very dissapointing because the Ravens wanted more tackles.

OT Ciron Black- In 6 games Black allowed 8.5 sacks and was benched after that for the season. The Saints expect better.
