[edit]Yannick Aigoin led, lapping the entire field 45 minutes into the race until his his engine flamed out, he restarted the engine only to flame out again, retiring him for once and for all. The flameout led to the rumor that his RB C6 BB engine could not last 60 minutes (the IFMAR/ROAR length). The problem was later revealed to been caused by faulty routing of the fuel lines as it had been caught between the flywheel, therefore the fuel supply was cut off from the carburetor, when it should had been placed above the carburetor nipple.[1]
