Blob4president

[edit]

The last time around I took this to WP:AIV, where, despite the 24 hour block handed to Blob4president, I was advised it might be better reported here. As I may have minced my words a little on the AIV report, I hope editors here present will permit me to be blunt: Blob4president appears to be making stuff up and adding it to articles.

And I'm fairly sure that's not the done thing.

I offer the following as evidence:

  • A ChubbChubbs sequel starring Neil Patrick Harris and Nick Jonas[1] – The internet seems curiously quiet about any such sequel featuring said performers. It doesn't even exist as an online rumour.
  • Official cancellation of The Venture Bros. on September 19th[2] – There has been no such official announcement on that date or otherwise; nor have I been able to find an online rumour to that effect.
  • Adult Swim put on hiatus from December 17th 2009 to February 2nd 2010[3] – Adult Swim is not going on hiatus. The commentary on what shows would or wouldn't be renewed is, as the reverting editor put it,[4] "unsourced nonsense".
  • Adding a television episode synopsis more than a week before broadcast[5] – At the time, no pre-broadcast synopsis was available. The synopses that have appeared since then differ remarkably from what Blob4president added.[6]
  • Two and a Half Men's Rose's last name revealed[7] – That episode had still not been broadcast at that point, and

And so on, the focus often being on cancellation or renewal of film or television series. It's not simply that Blob4president adds material without citing sources; it's that he adds material for which sources cannot be found or which is demonstrably wrong. And that leads me to believe his contributions are deliberate misinformation rather than a result of inexperience. Thank you.
