Best SF: 1974 (also known as The Year's Best Science Fiction No. 8) is the eighth in the Best SF series edited by Harry Harrison and Brian W. Aldiss, first published in an American edition in June 1975 by Bobbs-Merrill Company. The first paperback edition was released later that year by Sphere Books paperback following shortly thereafter.
