About me
[edit]I have a BSc in Physics and Astronomy from Birmingham University. While studying I worked as a chef and became passionate craft and local small scale production. After University I studied at Bespoke Tailoring at The London College of Fashion, and while I was there I started an apprenticeship atMaurice Sedwell I worked there for 4 years before working for Edward Sexton as an assistant cutter. I left Sexton to work for Form Clothing, managing the production of the clothing. When Form Clothing closed down Sexton asked me to come back and work with him, and I am still there.
I have always been interested in cloths how we behave differently depending on what we ware and how we treat people based on what they wear. I enjoy experimenting with dress and have been known to put together a great fancy dress costume.
I have used wikipedia for many years and find it a very useful resource, and want to help make it richer resource and more accurate.
Please be patient with me, as I am new to this. I am also dyslexic and always spell check, but sorry sometimes a spelling mistake will get through.
In late 2010 and early 2011 I worked with the Fashion and Textile Museum on an exhibition about Tommy Nutter. So have been in contact with many people and sources that can develop this and related articles.
