This Years Plans
[edit]Updated: 31st January 2008
Well with my plans to return to camp off, I had to find alternate plans and fast. Still intent on a return to the USA, I began looking at my options. Trek America quickly became my best option, I had had the chance to travel with them after camp in 2003, but decided against it at the last minute. I also know through a good friend that they are totally reliable and excellent tour guides. So the plans are now to fly to New York with Continental Airlines, and depart on my three week trek, heading accross country to Los Angeles, I then have a further three weeks in the states to travel my own way back to New York. Its going to be great travelling around the states on the trek, as it will be able to go places which could possibly be missed when travelling on ones own initiative. Will get a chance to cross the boarder into Mexico for the day, and on my return travels I intend to dip into Canada as well. Hopefully I wont be on my own either, my flatmate Tom should be joining me, if he doesnt head to Japan that is lol.
Cities I intend to visit this year
New York
Washington
New Orleans
San Antonio
Del Rio
Las Vegas
Los Angeles
San Francisco
Denver
Chicago
Toronto
Boston
South Africa is still vey much on the cards, whether I could afford to do it this year, is another question. I would probably wait and do it maybe at the begining of next year. I still think it would be a wonderful experience, something to remember for years to come.
