David Aaron Kaplowitz, AKA Klaus Koodn Kararatzacz, from Iselin New Jersey. Lived in Los Angeles between 1987-1995. Lived in Amsterdam The Netherlands between 1995-1998. Living in the Philly area from 1998-Present.

Studied guitar at GIT in Hollywood in 1987-88 while aspiring to be a stunt guitarist for Frank Zappa. The '88 tour's dispersal pretty much ruined that possibility. Played in a band called "Painting Over Picasso" in Amsterdam for a couple years until the band's dissolution. Study and play guitar, bass, keys/piano as a hobby now. Working as a Unix sysadmin/web admin for a university in the Philly area, playing guitar as a hobby.

I don't know if it's from too many years as a Zappa fan or if it's a genetic predisposition, but I'm fascinated by exotic rhythms, meter, polyrhythms, etc. I've been trying to contribute as much as possible to List of works in irregular time signatures, but some anonymous teenager has been adding spurious entries en masse and retaliating at attempts at correction by deleting huge chunks of what was there...all with no discussion.
