These are the types of food that we have as of now.

Sandwiches

Typically, a Sandwich is made by placing one or more ingredients between 2 slices of bread.

  • Hamburger: A sandwich usually made by placing 1 or more patties of ground meat inside of a sliced hamburger bun.
  • Hot dog: A cooked sausage that is traditionally grilled or steamed and served in a sliced bun as a sandwich.
  • S'more: Graham crackers with melted marshmallows & chocolate bars in between.

Sides

These are served along side a meal.

  • French fries: Long strips of cut potatoes that are traditionally deep fried or baked.
  • Nachos: Corn tortilla chips often topped with cheese & other ingredients. Sometimes, the cheese & other ingredients are used as dips instead.
  • Onion rings: Cross-sectional "rings" of onions that are normally deep fried or baked.
  • Tater Tots: Grated & deep fried potatoes made into the shape of small barrels.

Tortilla-based

Any food with a tortilla shell.

  • Taco: A rolled-up corn or wheat shell with a variety of fillings.
  • Burrito: A wheat flour shell wrapped or folded into a cylindrical shape to completely enclose the fillings.
  • Enchilada: A corn tortilla rolled around a filling & covered with a Chili pepper sauce.
  • Quesadilla: a corn or flour tortilla filled with a savory mixture containing cheese, other ingredients, and/or vegetables, (often) then folded in half to form a half-moon shape.
  • Tostada: A flat or bowl-shaped tortilla that is normally deep fried.

Snack Foods

The foods that are eaten between meals.

  • Potato Chips: Sliced potatoes that are typically fried or baked.
  • Pretzels: Baked bread products made from dough that are commonly found in a unique knot-like shape.
  • Tortilla chips: Wedges of fried corn tortillas.
  • Banana chips: Banana slices that are usually deep fried or dried.

Pasta

The cooked dough that is made into various shapes, mostly noodles.

Desserts

For after dinner.

  • Cake: A sweet tender breads made with sugar & delicate flour.
  • Cookie: A baked treat that is small & flat.
  • Doughnut: Deep fried or baked dough shaped like a ring.
  • Ice cream: A frozen dessert usually made from dairy products.
  • Pie: A baked dish consisting of a pastry casing that covers or completely contains a filling.

Meats

Made from the carcasses of animals.

  • Bacon: Strips of pig meat that are usually cured.
  • Sausage: Tubes of ground meat.
  • Egg: Laid by female animals of many types. Don't worry, they only contain baby animals when the mother animal was fertilized by a mate before the eggs are laid.
  • Steak: Slices of beef or fish cut perpendicular to the butt fibers or spine.
  • Frog legs: The dismembered and cooked legs of frogs.
  • Beef: The meat from a bovine.

Fruits

Many of these grow from trees.

  • Apple: A sweet fruit with a red skin.
  • Strawberry: A small, red fruit with seeds on the outside of the skin.
  • Pumpkin: A big, orange fruit with a thick shell.

Vegetables

Many of these grow from the ground.

  • Onion: A bulbous vegetable that releases tear causing enzymes when cut.
  • Corn: A large grain plant that consists of many kernels sticking onto a thick cob.
