- South Korea Roadshow: The 2024 Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit South Korea Roadshow was held in Seoul on November 7, 2023.[128] The roadshow was led by a delegation from the Gujarat government, headed by Ashwani Kumar, Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing. Following the roadshow, prominent South Korean business organizations such as Hanwah, Simmtech, Lotte, LG Energy, LX International, and SungEel HiTech had one-on-one discussions.[129][130] The event began with a welcome speech from Eun Young Yang, Director General of KOTRA, and ended with a speech from Amit Kumar, the Indian ambassador to Korea. The announcement by Amit Kumar that South Korea has been confirmed as a Partner Country for Vibrant Gujarat 2024 was a turning point in the session and a major accomplishment for the South Korea roadshow.[131][132] The KOTRA Asia Investment Development Team and Korean mid-sized firms represented the Korean side. Gujarat's development plans were given by the deputy mayor of the state as well as officials from industrial banks, urban development teams, and Indian defence industries.[133]
