Battle of Untala- This battle was fought during the reign of Maharana amarsingh I (1597-1620) to capture the fort untala,situated at vallabhnagar of Udaipur district.

After the Mewar-Mughal treaty(5 February 1615) this fort was under Mughal control ,then the time Mughal emperor was Jahangir.

There was a competition between Chundavats(descendants of Chunda) and Shaktawats(descendants of Shakti singh,Udaisingh's son) to lead in the Harawal (frontier part of an army).

The leader of Chundavats was jaitra singh Chundavat and the leader of Shaktawats was Ballu Shaktawat.
