Greetings: I am a sociologist/economist. Among many other things, I am interested in issues pertaining to equity and progressive tax policy. I am new at this and I am not at all sure I have the right idea. Please help.

I have some ideas about how to improve parts of the article on progressive income taxes. They concern how to improve the section on computational methods using measures of inequality.
