Before creating an article, please read Wikipedia:Your first article, or search for an existing article to which you can redirect this title.

When creating an article, provide references to reliable published sources. An article without references may quickly be deleted.
You can also start your new article at Special:MyPage/decltype. You can develop the article, with less risk of deletion, ask other editors to help work on it, and move it into "article space" when it is ready.

Warning: Before tagging a page for speedy deletion, carefully review the criteria for speedy deletion.

You should always consider alternatives to deletion, such as removing promotional material and copyright violations, or establishing proper context.

Now that I'm able to delete pages myself, I seldom tag pages for speedy deletion. Before being granted administrative privileges, I kept a detailed record of all my speedy deletion work. It is still available here. A listing of pages deleted by me can be found here
