Canadian Art magazine is a quarterly periodical on contemporary visual arts in Canada. The magazine has a 25 year history, and is considered to be one of the country's more significant art publications. [1] The magazine has the highest circulation of all visual art magazines in the country. [2]
The magazine itself has received awards from the Advertising and Design Club of Canada [3] and long-time editor Richard Rhodes has received recognition from Toronto Friends of the Visual Arts [4].
Canadian Art magazine is the primary program of the Canadian Art Foundation, a charitable organization that supports visual arts in Canada. [5]. The foundation was established in 1991, but the magazine was founded in 1984.
