Damien M. Dauphinee, DPM, FACFAS, FAENS, FCCWS, FAPWCA
Dr. Damien M Dauphinee is podiatric foot and and ankle surgeon specializing in peripheral nerve surgery of the lower extremity. He is immediate past president of the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons [1], a multidisciplinary group of physicians and surgeons founded as a society to promote the collaborative study and development of medical research regarding the treatment of extremity nerve disease. Dr. Dauphinee serves as Chairman for the AENS Continuing Medical Education Committee developing the inaugural AENS Advanced Peripheral Nerve Workshop training surgeons from throughout the United States in the latest diagnostic and therapeutic techniques in lower extremity nerve pathology. He has published medical journal articles and textbook chapters on various aspects of peripheral nerve pathology particularly those affecting patients with diabetes mellitus. [1], [2] Dr. Dauphinee serves as the Medical Director for the Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine at North Texas Hospital in Denton, TX [2] which was recently honored with the 5th highest patient satisfaction ratings for any hospital in the State of Texas by Consumer Reports.
