My name is Ran Ding. My personal interests is Economical and Political Analysis, Computer Science Study and Social Network Research. I'm currently a graduate student of Information Science School in University of Pittsburgh. Before I came to U.S, I had one year study on Web Technology (core based on Semantic Web) at ECS, University of Southampton in UK. Presently, I focus on theories and experiments about social network influence to class social movement and how did social media change the traditional mass media model.
In current my study, I selected course including data mining, data analytic and social network. I also looking forward to see how Semantic Web Structure introduced in Social Network Service (like foaf). While In my last Master Dissertation, I explored project on how to use Semantic Web and Recommender System with social network features to improve the process of Industry Design.
My bachelor degree gives me a very good foundation on compeer science, logistic and business management. Until now, I also work on Economical and Political Analysis about foreign affairs, China modern development and Economic Models in my personal research.
