Article Editing Tasks (02/26)

[edit]

"Virtual Reality"

  • Task #1: Review 'Talk' page.
  • Task #2: Open discussion on the 'Talk' page of what sections I will be addressing.
  • Task #3: Tackle the lead section of the article.
    • Needs to be more clear of what VR is and does for users.
    • Review its citations as it is flagged to have "an unclear citation style (April 2017)"
  • Task #4: Tackle the 'Use" section of the article.
    • Is flagged to be "written like an advertisement" so it needs copyediting to improve neutral content and appropriate citations and links.
    • There are multiple sub-sections, so will need to narrow down specific ones to focus on.

"Viral Phenomenon"

  • Task #1: Review 'Talk' page.
  • Task #2: Alert the 'Talk' page of my future contributions.
  • Task #3: Tackle the lead section of the article.
    • Look up definition of "viral phenomenon" and insert proper as its current definition is finicky.
    • Need to copyedit the rest of the paragraph as the content includes repetitive word usage.
  • Task #4: Consider rewording the section "History of terminology" to "Terminology and its history" to fit the flow of the content that belongs to this section.
  • Task #5: Read and review sub-articles to see what content is excess within the main article ("Viral Phenomenon") so it can be determined where some content can be cut and what information actually circulates back to how it is involved with viral phenomena.
