This page is owned and run by musician and recording artist Henry Cullen otherwise known as D.A.V.E. The Drummer. The reason for this pages existence is to document the history of the London Acid Techno music movement and create the correct and relevant links between the key players of the scene of which I, Henry Cullen am one.

The key instigators of the music, the producers, the DJs, the sound system owners and all general contributors are all intrinsically linked to a global underground electronic music scene that has its roots back in the 60/70s free festival and punk movements. Many of the DJs played or were involved in the original punk scene and subsequently the new age traveling scene, many of the venues where the early raves took place were squatted and some were home to some infamous events that are already well documented here on Wikepedia.

The New Age travelling scene has a rich and vibrant history that the rave scene was closely linked with. Central characters went on after spending time as new age travellers to organising record labels, running studios, making music, running events and some are still active in their respective fields, in fact some are now regarded as experts in their field and have gone one to run important businesses that keep parts of the scnene alive almost single handedly.

There is still a huge amount of support in the underground scene, the situation today is very different, but due to the internet the scene is more global, with a much wider base and regular contributors. I feel it is a worthy subject for Wikipedia to embrace and I will do my best to represent everything I write with carefully researched documentation and reliable information.
