[edit]

TcTex-1 Is a protein complex mostly associated with Dynein's light chain domain, for connecting to motors to a cargo.[1]Tc-Tex1 is involved in stretching membrane, It is commonly associated with neuron dendrites that frill at the end, cilium length, and cell division.[2][3] TC-Tex1 is a small protein, on the order of 12 kilodaltons, it is a dimer, and has electrostatic alpha helices outside a more neutral beta-sheet interior. The light chain Tc-Tex1 has various functions besides attaching the dynein motor to a cargo, that Tc-Tex1 can act as a regulator.[4]
