The Muslim Institute

The Muslims Institute is an intellectual organisation based in London, UK. Established in 1973, it was re-launched in 2009 as a fellowship society, modelled on futawwah clubs ^[1], which promoted a virtuous life based on knowledge, humility, magnanimity, hospitality, social work and the service of humanity during the classical period of Islam. The Institute promotes pluralistic thought, innovation and creativity, and encourages open debate and discussion on issues of Islam, Muslims and Muslim societies in a spirit of critical inquiry.
