I am a PhD chemist and Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the Community College of Philsdelphia. My research speciality is infrared (FTIR) and Raman spectroscopy. My PhD research is in Inorganic Chemistry. I have taught chemistry at the college and university level for about 24 years and three years at the high school (9-12) level. In addition, I worked for 12 years at the US Department of Agriculture, Eastern Regional Research Center in Wyndmoor, PA. I have also served as a paid consultant at SmithKline Beecham (now GlaxoSmithKline) Pharmaceuticals for about 2 years. (Last update: 09 Aug 2005)
