Burn the Ballroom[1] is an alternative-rock band based in Washington DC. Drawing influence from musical icons as BTB's powerful instrumentation and soaring vocals blur the genre lines between anthem, rock, pop-punk and pop. Burn the Ballroom has most recently toured in the United States, Asia, Russia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South America, and the Caribbean. The band has been featured at SXSW, Vans Warped Tour, VROX[2], American Music Abroad[3], and various other International music festivals.

Musical influences include Queen, MUSE, Panic! at the Disco, The Killers, My Chemical Romance, and The Foo Fighters.

Burn the Ballroom was founded in 2008 by guitarist and songwriter, Adriel Genet.[4]
