Bloomsbury Lanes new article content ... Bloomsbury Lanes is a bowling alley, restaurant and live music venue near Russel Square in Central London. The venue was opened in 2005 by Bloomsbury Leisure Group who opened a second Lanes venue in Bristol, UK in 2008. Bloomsbury Lanes has eight Brunswick bowling lanes, imported from Canada and are the only bowlign alley in Europe above lane ball returns. Clubnights are held weekly and have featured a range of acts including Amy Winehouse, Anthrax, Fun Loving Criminals, DJ Yoda, Anvil, Scouting for Girls, The Joy Formidable, The War on Drugs and Elisa Doolittle. Bloomsbury Lanes was used to host The Secret Cinema event for The Big Lebowski and is the London home of Funk n Bowl with Craig Charles.
