Origin

"Good God" was primarily written by lead singer Jonathan Davis. Davis said in an interview that it's concept was about an old friend he had, that, as Davis says, "came into my life with nothing, hung out at my house, lived off me, and made me do shit I didn't really wanna do." Davis also said that "Whenever I had plans to go on a date with a chick he'd sabotage it, because he didn't have a date or nothing. He was a gutless fucking nothing." As he said in the interview, they have not kept in touch what so ever.
