CRIS DE LA FEMME means cries or screams of women. It is a non-governmental organization based in the Democratic Republic of Congo mainly concerned with the defense of Women's and Children’s rights.

CRIS DE LA FEMME was founded in 2018 in Kinshasa (the capital city of the DRC). Due to the ongoing war in the eastern part of the DRC which affects women and children A group of women from all over the country came together and came up with the idea of creating a non-governmental organization that would help support and defend women's and children’s rights. In the last 5 years, CRIS DE LA FEMME has carried out several activities including visiting refugee camps that housed women and children who lost their houses and were victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence, during the war.
