My name is Dr Richard Ward and I work as a Senior Lecturer in Digital History at the University of Exeter, UK. I am also a Trustee with the Museum of Policing in Devon and Cornwall, a registered charity that collects, preserves and celebrates the history of policing in Devon and Cornwall.

My research interests include the history of crime, justice and punishment between 1700 and 1900.
