The page of "Stonewall Inn" seems very detailed, and doesn't appear to have content gaps, errors or misinformation.

However, I see no mention of the site in reference to it becoming the starting point at which the first (and subsequent) gay pride parade started. The events that occurred at the Stonewall Inn seemed to have inspired gay pride marches around the country the following year along with New York City's, with marches in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago. My theory is that previous to the Stonewall riots, there were no gay pride parades. I don't have sources yet to back me up, but I will continue to search for them to help verify that.

(The historical site as a point of reference to gay pride is important to note.) [The riot’s anniversary brought about the first gay pride march, which started at the site and ended in Central Park. (citation needed) ]

"The events that took place at the Stonewall Inn led to the first gay pride parades in the United States and in many other countries. On June 28^th 1970, a march was led from Greenwich Village to the Sheep Meadow in Central Park. ^[10]
