Arjun Tudu is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Delhi Dynamos FC in the Indian Super League.[1]
Career
[edit]Early career
[edit]Arjun was born in Sarjamda, near Jamshedpur. His father Chunu Tudu was a district level footballer and an electrician at the Tata Industries nearby. Tudu joined the SAI sports hostel in Danapur, Patna and was the top scorer in the 2005 Subroto Cup.[2]
Army XI
[edit]Arjun is a Bihar Regiment Hawildar and a regular in the Army XI which plays in the Kolkata Football League, scoring 30 goals in different tournaments.[3]
Services
[edit]Arjun joined Services Junior Team in 2006 and graduated the senior team in 2008.[4] He was the player of the match in the semifinals and the finals against Maharashtra in the 2016 Santosh Trophy.[5]
Delhi Dynamos (loan)
[edit]On 27 July 2016, Arjun Tudu joined the Delhi Dynamos on loan from Army XI.[6] He was prolific in the practice games, scoring the deciding goal against Assyriska BK, in a 3-2 win.[7]
