Royal Canadian Dairy Commission Sour Cream Act of 1973

Nationwide insurgences in Canada's Dairy industry threatened Canada with economic collapse in the early 70's. The Sour Cream Act of 1973 set regulations on dairy production that led to the restructure of Canadian government. In an industry segment close to His Excellency's the Governour General's heart, this act of Parliament was taken up and enacted by all new establishments serving alcoholic beverages in Her Majesty's crown possessions were required to be presented with a opening gift of sour cream.
