Shammi Aulakh
[edit]Shammi Aulakh is a British Actor who has appeared in numerous films and TV programmes. Notably Tara Vs Bilal, Cuttputlli[1] Land of Legend National Geographic's Erased: WW2's Heroes of Color[2] Mossad's Revenge and the TV series The Summer Murders.
Biography
[edit]Shammi was born in Hillingdon West London on the 29th of August 1973.He is third generation Indian decent. His Grandfather a decorated WWII soldier from the Benghazi and Monte Cassino campaign arrived in the UK in the early 1950's. His Maternal Grandfather was a decorated soldier in the pacific and was a POW in Kanchanabura Prison Camp.
He is also a filmmaker, made a feature length film in Finland and also a film about Indian soldiers in Europe during WWII. he is also a pilot and a polyglot.
He studied acting at the prestigious drama school London Academy of Performing Arts. He had received a scholarship from two well known Actors, Nigel Hawthorne and Ian Holm.
His main tutors were Madeleine Cannon, Michael Latimer, June Kemp and David Perry.
He currently reside in London and USA.
