Some photographs to take

[edit]
  • 175 Brunswick Street [1] - Former headquarters of the pacifist movement during World War Two. Also known as "Marijuana House" when it was occupied by Univesity of Melbourne students after the war (what decade, I wonder).
  • 7 Brunswick Street [2] - Probably built in 1866 for solicitor Samuel Gillott, who occupied the property until 1900. It later became known as 'Dodgshun House', and is now the 'Mary of the Cross Centre'.
  • 341 Brunswick Street. Former site of W. S. Kimpton & Sons flour mill. [3].

Misc

[edit]
  • Here is a photo of the service station which once stood next to YSAS and Central Hall, on Brunswick Street (now a vacant lot) [4].
