The Leadership Certificate is a multi-semester structured program aims to develop students' leadership skills through different kinds of curriculum and programs. Every student will have a experiienced coach whom will provide guide and help. At the begining, participants need to evaluate themslves and set goals. After two-year learning, participants who complete all the requirements will get the certificate and attend a ceremory.

Personal Development Plan (PDP)

Self-identification about the following two years' development plan. It should includes the personal understanding about leadership, the attributes and skills that are important to participants about Self-Development, Interpersonal Development, Organizational/Group Development and Transitional Development, and the detailed plan about how to improve them.

i-Programs

Integrity

This program focus on the ethics and morals, showing how integrity influence people's behaviors and decision making. During this program, people will define the meaning of integrity at first, then recognize the benefits of keeping honest and the results of being unethical, use ethical thoughts to analyze real situations and at last learn how to compensate when making decisions that lack integrity.

Ignite

This program focus on organizational development, which means to enhance the ability to lead (sustain) changes in an organization. People who attend the program will learn concepts that can be used in leading change within thhe communities and organizations, the way to approach complex issues from a systems thinking perspective, the importance to identify resources to achieve goals, and how to build coalitions in order to make successful changes.

Intersect

This program focus on interpersonal development, asking people to be reflective when engaging in group works. The program includes lots of group conversations and activities (games) so people need to communicate with each other all the time. At the same time, it will tell people what the five listening styles are and after the program, people will discuss how effective teams could be and how to improve former beheaviors.

Imprint

This program provide the chance to learn from a team of experienced illinois alumni. During the whole day, sudents will talk with their alumni coaches about anything they want to know. Alumni coaches will share their stories and show their transition skills, personal branding and networking skills, and also help participants to improve themselves.

LeaderShape

The most interesting and unique program provided by Leadership Center, nearly includes all other i-programs' content. Participants will spend a week in a leadshape institute in the winter break to identify their values, develop their visions, and build their interpersonal network though large group learning, small group feedback leadership games and collaboration activities. Students were divided into different groups named family cluster with an experienced coach and everyone would spend much of the time communicating with the family members. Each participant has an opportunity to engage in reflection, planning and one-on-one interactions during the week. There, everyone is a learner, but also a teacher.
